Car manufacturers often set conservative limits for these parameters, but remapping can get around this quickly. Note, however, that you may need to prioritise vehicle maintenance more, as pushing certain limits can put extra stress on car components.
2. Will a remapped car pass its MOT?
A legitimate concern but, as long as your engine is remapped by a professional with lots of experience, there is no need to worry that a fine-tuned car will not pass its MOT because of ECU changes.
